The constitution is nothing but a list of reasons why police get to execute people. Don’t like what they protest, kill them and go home. Legally carry a firearm, and these cowards will execute you.
And Democrats like Tim Walz will just keep writing “strongly worded letters” while bodies pile up.
Qualified immunity has to end. No compromise, full stop abolishment for these sociopaths.
Perfectly stated as always Scarlet. We truly are at the precipice and it’s up to us now to save ourselves. No one is coming to save us and no amount of primarying Democrats will stop this murderous machine from conducting its perpetual atrocities. The time is now to get involved, build up & fortify our communities, & be ready support each other wherever and whenever possible. We’re on our own, but I maintain my revolutionary optimism that we the people will be the ones to save ourselves. I believe in us as well, now and forever.
I thought this is what the second amendment and all the militias were supposed to stop. No?
While I’m sure it feels good to some to mount up as boogaloo boys or whatever the fuck, remember how fucking stupid and dumb all that shit was in 2020. The best you can hope for now is to be executed by ICE without much bullshit.
I really just don’t want to have to deal with the bullshit. Like, if the end result is going to be dumped into a mass grave, let’s just skip to that. I don’t want to have to (maybe?) go to some black site prison. Just skip to the slaughter.
That’s where it actually gets the grimmest. Trumps flaw is not going far enough. So some people will die but the dam will never break. Which is why, paradoxically, China has more freedom via surveillance because they know it’s happening. You don’t know if you’re on a list, not on a list, and there’s probably not even a list or any plan. It’s just an idea that this has some strategy that’s going to end with you being killed in the street by some shit kid security guard that is worse than if you actually knew they were going to execute any non Republican voter.
I’m going to be the guy that says I told you so, and I wish I had receipts. The end result of this was always enforced freedom. A totalitarian version of freedom. They can shit on Marcuse all they want, but he was right - there’s one very flat definition of freedom. We are imprisoned by our language. Being against genocide makes you an antisemite. You pay to get locked into Disney world to escape the realities of the freedom enforced upon you.
And here’s the trick - it’s always been this way, there was just nobody pulling the curtain back the way Trump has.
In principle I agree with everything. Minnesotans have shown already that they are conscious of their solidarity and of their status as working people in opposition to the ruling class who as you say have outright declared war on them.
Step up the struggle. You are a model for the rest of us suffering less than you but ground down by a decade and a half of austerity.
We cannot be guaranteed that our votes will count.
We cannot solve everything only by protesting.
We cannot tell others (who are not in positions of authority) that they are doing too little.
We cannot help but remind others who claim authority or our esteem that they can always do more.
No adults will come and save us.
The answers are not all in books.
Our consciences can be compromised and corrupted.
We can be led astray. We can lead ourselves into blinds.
We are no fonts of virtue, wisdom, or comfort.
Even if we elected a veto-proof Congress of people of conscience and integrity, they’d still need everyone to keep them honest, and we’d need them to keep us on our toes.
But we better be mobilizing to protect the ballots and make sure the elections happen as honestly as elections can be made to happen. And we better be trying to learn from our mistakes and failures.
If it's going to be a hot war, better get your tactics straight. Whistles and i-phones are not going to cut it. You can't let ICE set the agenda and expect any other outcome than more street executions.

Well said, my friend. It’s time. Nobody is coming to save us.
Salvation is found in each other when we stand in solidarity together.

The US just oversaw a genocide in Gaza. You already accept anything.

Give what you can, lots of options and need https://www.standwithminnesota.com/#gofundme
I mean this from the bottom of my heart: go to hell. Your misanthropic nihilism is not welcome here.
I didn’t do that a government I have no power over and am oppressed by did. Eat shit.
